That leaves me as the only one of us who hasn't spawned. I already acquired a 6-year old the easy way, though--I skipped the diapers-and-colic phase! but missed him learning how to talk--so I'm not in a hurry.

It was very cute--he started out with sign language, then moved on to the first syllable of many words. We thought that was all he could do until we visited Gigi and found out that in the presence of people who didn't know him well enough to fill in the gaps, he could manage even 3-syllable words. It wasn't long after that when he started on complex sentence structure.
