  9. The Chinese Typewriter: A History - Thomas S. Mullaney. Did he just invent the word "technolinguistic"? Quite possibly. Was it necessary? Yep.

  21. The End of Empire: Attila the Hun & the Fall of Rome - Christopher Kelly. Thin, but well-done.
  22. Oathbringer - Brandon Sanderson. Stormlight #3. I thought this would have me done with his Cosmere novels, but no, there's a second Mistborn trilogy still.
  23. Fiddle: One Woman, Four Strings, and 8,000 Miles of Music - Vivian Wagner.

  41. Revenant Gun - Yoon Ha Lee. Not a bad trilogy...sort of uneven, but creative and distinct.
  42. Chasing Aphrodite: The Hunt for Looted Antiquities at the World's Richest Museum - Jason Felch & Ralph Frammolino. The story of the Getty Museum's decades of buying looted antiquities. Just...wow.
  43. Consider Phlebas - Iain M. Banks. Spurred to re-read this for the only time in years by a conversation at work, I re-read the whole thing, and it is a bad book about an interesting milieu.
  44. Cannery Row - John Steinbeck. What an odd book. Nothing happens.
  45. The Iron Thorn - Caitlin Kittredge.
  46. Ilium - Dan Simmons.
  47. The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs: A New History of a Lost World - Steve Brusatte.

New Category: Audiobooks! Lots of free readings of public-domain works from Librivox. Although I realized I can get much higher-quality readings from the libraries.
